Clan Of The Iron Horse
My life’s the thrill of adventure
It’s a free life untasted by most
I get to see a world made for me
By riding this land coast-to-coast
My mind’s a storehouse of feelings
With memories no time can erode
For I am a member of the Iron Horse Clan
And the Brotherhood Of The Road
This brotherhood of the highway
Will survive longer than any can
Its metal is cast in a mold carved to last
And the strongest of all made by man
This bond of we two-wheel borne vagabonds
Has its roots deep in freedom of course
With a kinship entwined in a man’s state-of-mind
And the Clan Of The Iron Horse
In your world will you trust your life to your bro.
And stand by your own actions un-shamed
Can you look at your peer in the eye man-to-man
Will you trust him to do you the same
I’ve needed some help and been glad to give back
And feel that helping a bro. is no load
Cause I am a member of the Iron Horse Clan
And the Brotherhood Of The Road
To be one with the wind on the highway
To look up and see nothing but sky
To be tuned to the Earth like each ride’s a re-birth
To know freedom’s the ultimate high
If you’re lulled by the song of a twin-wheeled machine
Taking life as it comes sans remorse
Then you’ve paid your dues to the brotherhood my friend
And the Clan Of The Iron Horse
